The Very Inspiring Blogger Award {Bookish}

So I found myself nominated for this inspiring award by some amazing women. Thank you to my friends Andie, Emily, Anna and Erin for nominating me. These girls are so passionate about what they post and I always look forward to what they have to say. Please check out their blogs when you get a moment… you’re welcome.

Seven Facts About Me:

1. I despise onions. Let me specify, I despise crunchy onions. If they’re cooked down and mushy and translucent, then I’ll eat them. But if they’re garnish, crispy, crunchy, etc…I’ll complain and act like a child. OH and you can’t sneak them past me. I’ll always know. I’m like a bomb sniffing dog…except I’m a human and I sniff out onions.

2. I have recently picked up calligraphy as a hobby. I would use a nib and dip ink every day if it didn’t take so long and it wasn’t as messy.

3. I’m completely and utterly obsessed with Christmas. The minute it becomes remotely cold outside, I get butterflies because I know my favorite holiday is coming. I totally deck the halls, yo.

4. I shed. A lot. I could probably make a wig every day from the hair I lose. It’s ridiculous.

5. I hate loading the dishes. I’ll unload them all day long but loading them? Nope. Not my favorite.

6. I wish I could live in the 14th century. But I would want to be rich, not poor. Being poor back then was a sure way to die early of consumption. But I wouldn’t wanna be so rich that I’d have to go to court because that was a sure way to die early of drama. Surely there’s a happy medium…yeah?

7. I would love to live in New England. More specifically, the house from Practical Magic.

  1. Congrats on being nominated SO MANY TIMES! πŸ˜€ I actually have a really weird love of onions. I can eat them plain and love it…okay I’m stopping now this is strange. Lol. I shed too. My mom is always complaining about my hair around the house. I’ve always found it annoying that my parents wouldn’t let me get a cat until now because of them shedding when in truth, I’d probably shed more that the cat would!

    • HAHAHA! Why thank you:)
      Wait…you love onions? Can you eat it like an apple? I saw a person on tv once and literally gagged. Hahaha. We can still be friends though:) just as long as you cook onions before feeding me then we are good. Not..that…you cook for me…or anything hahaha.
      Um, I shed and I have a cat who sheds more than me. It’s hairy round these here parts!

  2. Congratulations on your well deserved nomination, and thanks for nominating me in turn! Gosh. I would totally nominate you if you hadn’t been already.

    I have to say, I hate raw onions as well. Today one of my coworkers had a peanut butter & raw onion sandwich for lunch—I kid you not—and claimed it is the most delicious combination. I was in shock.

  3. Um ok. Can I just say that we might share a brain? Onions. Not happening. I literally took a study of calligraphy art class last semester for 1 unit. I count the days till Christmas! IT’S MY FAVORITE. I should be bald right now with how much hair I lose and honestly the worst part is getting it stuck in between my toes… Right after I vacuum. My sink gets a little cluttered… Dishes… 14th century. I just want to dress like that and look oh so classy. And New England <3. *cheers* CONGRATS! πŸ˜€ I can't wait to read Mara Dyer with you!
