Because Books {Book Haul}

So, I decided to go to the bookstore yesterday/Thursday and set out to buy up all of Jasper Fforde’s books. Well, guess what, they didn’t have any of the Thursday Next books {insert stomping, pouting, huffing and puffing like a child}. BUT they did have the first two books in his Nursery Crime series. Anyway, these are the books I picked up during my completely unnecessarily necessary book haul!

The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde
The Fourth Bear by Jasper Fforde
Flesh and Bone {Benny Imura #3} by Jonathan Maberry
The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman
The 5th Wave {The 5th Wave #1} by Rick Yancey

  1. The 5th Wave is amazing!! It made me sweat at certain parts. The beginning is a little slow because everything has to be explained, but DO NOT give up on it!!

    • *crosses heart* I promise I won’t πŸ™‚ I’ve heard so many good things and have literally been walking around this book for months and months. Finally I said, “it’s time!” I’m glad you liked it!! πŸ™‚

      • It is so good! πŸ™‚ My top book right now. Let me know how you like it! I do have a review on it somewhere on my darn unorganized page if you want to check it out (no pressure though). I am excited that someone else is going to read it and I’ll have a buddy to discuss it with!

      • No doubt! You’ll see when I’m reading it on Goodreads πŸ™‚ we can discuss via updates! I’ll totally check your blog for the review. I’ll skip the spoilers if any!

  2. The 5th Wave! I still have to read this one (it’s currently sitting with my other books, waiting to be opened). I had to get it, though. It was hardcover for only $4! I was happy πŸ˜€ I hope you enjoy this one and the rest of your new books!

    • I accidentally stumbled upon his books and the covers drew me in. The Eyre Affair was SO good. I’m excited about the Nursery Crimes series. You should read some of his stuff. You’ll most likely become a new fan too:)
